The team from Good One PR has won Young Creatives Cannes 2023

Ilona Rutkowska and Jakub Macyszyn from the Good One PR agency have won the main prize in the PR category in this year's Young Creatives Cannes competition. The winners will represent Poland at the international Young Lions Competition 2023 in Cannes this June.


This year's edition of one of the most important competitions in the creative industry - Young Creatives Cannes - saw a two-person team from the Good One PR agency compete for the first time. Their debut resulted in receiving the main prize in the PR category, i.e. qualification for the international Young Lions Competition 2023 in Cannes.


Ilona Rutkowska and Jakub Macyszyn developed a PR strategy in 24 hours, responding to an issue contained in a brief prepared by category partner SAMSUNG. The task was to prepare a creative campaign with the potential to generate buzz in the media for fridges that, using modern AI technologies, offer the possibility of saving up to 15% of energy.


The work of Young Creatives participants was judged by experienced creative directors, strategists, directors, marketers and designers. As in previous editions, participants faced briefs in seven categories - Print, Design, Film, Digital, PR, Media, Clients and a special one - Open. Almost 150 two-person teams entered this year's edition, which is also the 25th anniversary of Young Creatives. The awards were presented at a gala ceremony at the Luna Cinema on 20 April this year.
